We recommend that you watch at least one before your first appointment, so that you have a basic understanding of the concepts we will cover. Forks Over Knives and PlantPure Nation are especially good at exploring how adopting a whole food, plant based diet has incredible health effects. Marty's favorite vegan documentary, and the reason he adopted a whole food, plant based diet! Very health-centric and scientifically based, this film explores the use of using food as medicine to prevent, treat, and reverse chronic health conditions.

By the creators of Forks Over Knives, this film explores the health benefits of a whole food, plant based diet, the ways that plant based programs can be implemented in communities, and the ways social, corporate, and governmental forces shape the information we are given about food.

What the Health

This film interviews multiple esteemed plant based medical professionals, and explores the health benefits of plant based diets, the harmful effect of animal products, and the corruption and collusion in government and big business that keeps health important information from being given to citizens. Perhaps a bit sensational in a few portions, overall this documentary presents a lot of good information and resources.

This film interviews and follows the stories of multiple prominent, award winning athletes. It also explores several misconceptions about plant based / vegan diets and what the optimal diet for enhanced athletic performance is.
